WARNING: EXPLOSIVE SOUP ALOOF

  • Watching: TV. *gasp* Yes, yes, I admit it. I am watching TV.
  • Playing: Faire's Aire and Death Waltz
  • Eating: Explosive soup remnants
  • Drinking: Knowledge. Oh, deep.
Okay, so get this. I get home from school, and I'm hungry, right? So I go to the pan on the stove, which has soup waiting on it for me. Clam chowder, to be exact. My mom said it was fine if I took some. So I did, naturally. I put some in an itty bitty bowl and stuck it in the microwave. I set the timer on for a minute. ONE MINUTE. And the plate starts spinning, and what not... everything is normal. Then, as I go and get cheese cubes out of the fridge (who doesn't love cheese cubes? I mean, come on) I take the soup out of the microwave even before this minute was up. Then, it stops sizzling and all, and JUST asI'm setting down the bowl of soup on the counter--- it EXPLODES! Like, literally, it explodes! This scalding hot soup, it randomly POPS 20 seconds AFTER it's out of the microwave!!! What kind of conspiracy is THAT??? And now I have 5 different blisters, 2 of which are on my face, and tomorrow is homecoming!! And it was like... OW!



Oh wait. Just in-- this state of matter is called superheated matter. When agitated, it will explode if heated beyond the boiling point.


*shrugs* Whatever. It hurts though.
